Dr Mobin Nomvar
Founder and Managing Director

Mobin is an experienced engineer, scientist and business leader.
Having led projects at the United Nations Development Programme for Iran’s Energy Sector and National Action Plan, Mobin completed his PhD at the University of Sydney in 2015 and has been pursuing different research commercialisation projects since then.He is a trusted leader and advisor to multiple private and public deep tech companies.
Professor Ali Abbas

Ali is a leading subject matter expert in Circular Economy and Future Energy. In addition to his role at Scimita, Ali is Australia’s first Chief Circular Engineer. Ali is an experienced engineer committed to solving sustainability challenges at the intersection of his skills in Process systems Engineering, Circular Economy, and Net Zero.

Ric has over 35 years of experience in Managing Director/CEO/Chair roles, in sectors as varied as mining equipment, mineral processing, infrastructure, B2B industrial and FMCG. With deep experience in engaging with the Australian Government on its innovation agenda, Ric is uniquely poised to support businesses ready for growth and achieve long-term success.
